Calcium-Based Stabilizer Systems

Calcium-based stabilizers (containing Ca-Zn) are widely used in wires and cables, window and technical profiles (including foamed types), all kinds of pipes (such as soil and sewer pipes, foam core pipes, pressure pipes, corrugated pipes, land drainage pipes, and cable ducts), and related fittings.

In PVC calender film production, calcium-based stabilizers are introduced when organoleptic properties are required. They are also offered as an alternative to tin carboxylates in PVC blown films and sugar packaging applications, or as an alternative to tin mercaptides in transparent food packaging. Similarly, calcium-based stabilizers are now used in many flexible applications, particularly indoors where good air quality (VOC) requirements exist, as an alternative to Liquid Mixed Metals (LMM).

Product forms: Calcium-based stabilizers are available in powder, granule, pellet, and flake forms.
